Business Development Managers




A team of 4 Business Development Managers are based at Begbroke but work closely with the science departments based in Oxford City centre to help facilitate industry interactions and develop more interdisciplinary applied research, and knowledge and technology transfer activities. The managers work across the range of technologies.

Dr Stuart Wright

Head of Impact & Innovation

Responsible for the delivery of the Impact and Innovation agenda across the Maths, Physical and Life Sciences Division of the University of Oxford. This includes promotion of business links, research exploitation, the development of industrial collaborations as well as a various knowledge and technology transfer activities.


Dr Christiane Norenberg

Nanotechnology

Runs various of the CPD nanotechnology courses for the University including short courses, summer school and Postgraduate Certificate from Begbroke Science Park.


Dr Guy Hill

Molecular & Medical Sciences

Has a special focus on Knowledge and Technology Transfer. Helps to run the University of Oxford KTP office, brokers large research projects across departments and plays an important consultancy and facilitator role with companies.


Dr John McCormack

Materials & Engineering Sciences

Has a special focus on Knowledge and Technology Transfer. Helps to run the University of Oxford KTP office, brokers large research projects across departments and plays an important consultancy and facilitator role with companies.


Mustie Rahman

Digital Economy

Emphasising on industrial collaborations, Mustie brings together researchers to secure interdisciplinary projects facilitated through emerging technologies. He also helped get CyberSEM working to promote closer engagements with schools.
