Begbroke Science Park exhibits as part of the ‘Eco Bicester – One Shared Vision’

Mark Prisk MP, the Minister of State for Business and Enterprise, visited the John Paul Center II in Bicester on the 23rd April as part of “Eco Bicester – One Shared Vision”. The event, which focused on strategic regional development, gave the opportunity for public and private sector bodies including Begbroke Science Park to exhibit their work.

Professor Peter Dobson, Academic Director at Begbroke Science Park, expressed the pivotal role that Begbroke plays in the local economy currently, as well as for the future. Focusing on the important research basis of the site, Professor Peter Dobson was keen to highlight to the Minister the exciting range of technologies being developed by the University research groups and 30 or more companies based onsite, as well as The Environmental sustainability KTN. The KTN, based at Begbroke, helps support the environmental focus to developments in Bicester.
