BREATH TAKING ANALYSIS FROM BEGBROKE SCIENCE PARK TENANT MAKES LOCAL NEWS HEADLINES
Oxford Medical Diagnostics’ new breath test for diabetes topped the bill on local BBC TV news bulletins last week as they announced the launch of a 6 month trial which will test their desktop breath analysis device on Oxfordshire children with Type 1 diabetes. The trial is due to begin in Spring 2012 and will run in conjunction with Oxford’s city children’s hospital.
CEO of Oxford Medical Diagnostics Diana Davies was featured on the BBC Radio Oxford’s breakfast show where she outlined details of the company’s plans. And on television Technical Officers David Taylor and Graham Richmond were shown demonstrating the new device at their headquarters within the Centre for Innovation and Enterprise at Oxford University’s Begbroke Science Park.
Company Secretary Rowland Smith explains “Begbroke Science Park offers emerging businesses access to the world-renowned research scientists at Oxford University. Through its wider network of contacts with industry and investors, the Park creates opportunities for Oxford Medical Diagnostics to take our cutting edge research and translate it into products that will hopefully transform lives.”
