Innovation Showcase – annually in mid-March

The Innovation Showcase guides Yr9 and Yr10 students as they turn their "bright idea" into a commercial product that they will take to market. The day is designed to give students an insight into setting up and running their own business, and the skills and behaviours required of entrepreneurs. It encourages creative thinking, teamwork and communication skills and will enthuse and invigorate young minds.

Fuel their curious minds with our 'Time for Nano' nanoscience event. This event invites students to explore the idea of nanoscience and understand the importance of research as the driver of new nanotechnologies in our world today.

Hands-on fun with practical experiments to engage and inspire your Key Stage 3 students!

 Practical Nanoscience Workshop for Teachers - annually in early July

Practical Nanoscience workshops for BTEC, KS3, KS4 and KS5 science teachers. The day provides skills and take-away resources to teach nanoscience in the GCSE/GCE chemistry and BTEC science curricula. With laboratory tours providing insights into advanced research techniques, inspirational lectures, practical exercises and materials to take back to the classroom, this course is a “must-do” for all science teaching staff looking to engage their students in STEM subjects.
