London International Youth Science Forum Visit to Begbroke Science Park

A prestigious forum of handpicked, talented young scientists from around the world visited Begbroke Science Park on 4th August 2011.

The visit, part of the London International Youth Science Forum, attracted over 300 of the world’s leading scientists aged 17-21 years old from more than 50 participating countries.

They were shown the development of Science through the applications of Nanotechnology, demonstrating its influence in producing a range of Scientific and Technological innovations.

They also had a glimpse of advanced research facilitated by the Oxford Supercomputing Centre; the Oxford Mobile Robotics Group’s fully autonomous road vehicle (Bowler Wildcat); and the Impact Engineering Team’s current project, testing the resilience of jet engine parts.
