The AgileLab at Oxford University Science Park, Begbroke, has been awarded the Silver LEAF (Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework) Award, recognising its commitment to sustainability and efficiency in laboratory practices.

Developed by University College London, LEAF is an international standard designed to improve the sustainability of research labs. Adopted in over 15 countries and by more than 95 institutions, it has rapidly become the world’s largest green lab certification scheme.

All current AgileLab tenants played a role in meeting the LEAF criteria, helping the lab achieve this recognition.

On receiving the Silver LEAF Award, AgileLab Manager, Karanjit Das, commented:
“Sustainability is integral to the AgileLab’s ethos, it’s a fundamental commitment for us. Participating in LEAF was simply essential. A big thank you to all of our AgileLab tenants who contributed to achieving this goal!”

Congratulations to everyone involved!
