Welcome to the University of Oxford Science Park, at Begbroke. We are wholly owned by the University of Oxford (the only science park to be so). As part of the Maths, Physics and Life Sciences Division of the University we perform a key role in enabling innovation and entrepreneurship from the University to develop and foster collaborations between science-based business and academics on-site and across the wider research community.
Our aim is to provide an innovative and supportive environment
‘Where Science and Industry meet’
There are around 30 companies and over 20 research groups currently at the science park. Researchers from the Mathematical, Physical & Life Sciences and Medical Sciences Divisions of Oxford University work in inter-disciplinary groups, to tackle some of the major societal issues facing our 21st century world.
With a wide variety of companies on site we aim to facilitate a collaborative environment where the business community, University Academics and Researchers, educational establishments and local and national stakeholders come together and thrive.
Space & Facilities
Here at Oxford University Science Park, we provide an environment that helps innovative science & technology businesses through the difficult early stages of growth by providing a range of flexible property offers.
Conferences & Meetings
Our professional meeting and conference space combines the atmosphere of a world-leading university with access to the latest equipment and resources
We have a variety of meeting rooms that can accommodate between two and eighty delegates. With our spacious grounds, walled garden and the use of additional marquees, we can offer scope for larger events for up to 200 guests, making it the ideal choice for garden parties, celebrations, networking and award ceremonies.
Training & Outreach
We offer a range of professional courses, developed and delivered in collaboration with Oxford University’s Department for Continuing Education, focusing on nanotechnology and nanomedicine. Specially designed for busy professionals, these courses provide essential skills for the development of the workforce using the latest knowledge and training techniques.
Our flexible, supportive environment encourages links between high-tech science-based spinouts, their more established counterparts and the University. The interaction between industry and learning constantly produces new synergies, and we support entrepreneurs as they translate those synergies into innovations which meet tomorrow’s industrial challenges.
